The front cover image of the photo book that includes pictures taken during the “TOUR19 This Way to Self-Destruction” held in North America in December 2019 and Europe in January 2020 as well as one special picture from January 27th, 2022 show held at USEN STUDIO COAST is going to be released under the title “2019120520220127” is now out!
For those purchasing the photo book at GALAXY BROAD SHOP we are sorry to inform you that, even though the shipping was planned to start in mid-November, it will finally start on November 22nd (Tue.). We kindly ask for your understanding and patience.
Furthermore, due to several circumstances, the release day for the regular version of the photo book at TSUTAYA stores which was planned for October 31st will finally be scheduled for November 23rd (Wed.). DIR EN GREY left Japan for two months to hold an overseas tour just before a world chaos no one would have ever expected started. During this tour, fans from all over the world who had been waiting to see DIR EN GREY’s performance for a long time welcomed the band in their countries in a very heartwarming way, filling every venue with never-ending enthusiasm and excitement.
Just when we were thinking such joyful days when it was a normal thing gathering at a live house to enjoy this amazing experience called “live” would continue without any problem, the world changed completely. Those wonderful venues that used to fill our lives with happiness remained empty for a longer time than we would have ever expected. Even when we could eventually resume our music activities, the show concept changed according to this new situation. Nevertheless, we keep doing our best so those old days can return at some point.
While we are still waiting for better times to come, this photo book captures how the world used to be and portrays DIR EN GREY visiting several countries all around the world. As long as we can’t travel smoothly for now, we hope you can enjoy all these memories we built together.
