■ABOUT THE MOVIE
［DIR EN GREY LIVE FILM Zankyou no Ketsumyaku～mode of Withering to death. & UROBOROS～］
DIR EN GREY, who have established a solid following not only in Japan but also overseas, securing their position as a rock band that defies categorization and needs no labels, held their European tour 「EUROPE TOUR24 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of Withering to death. & UROBOROS]」 for the first time in 4 years, starting with a show in Poland on March 19th (Tue.), moving then to France, England and Germany for a total of 9 shows in 4 countries.
This tour marks the first one in held in Europe for the tour series focused on the band’s old albums, bringing along the band’s 5th and 7th albums “Withering to death.” and “UROBOROS” respectively, which are very popular in Europe, presenting two different shows on two nights in almost every city (except Oberhausen).
The film is planned to include, in addition to the live performance, some behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band members and, following the steps of the concert which brought on stage 2 different concepts on each night, the content of the live movie is also going to be a two parts movie, to be in the theaters in autumn in two different roadshow periods: 「～mode of Withering to death.～」 for the March 30th (Sat.) show; and the 「～mode of UROBOROS～」 for March 31st (Sun.).
