DIR EN GREY comes back to the United States in April 2025 with the first shows in the country in about five and a half years, since their nine-city tour in North and Central America held back in 2019!
The title for these concerts will be “TOUR25 WHO IS THIS HELL FOR?”, the same one from the domestic tour held from November to December, but it will also include the subtitle “[mode of VULGAR & Withering to death.]”. Songs from nowadays DIR EN GREY will mix up with those from the albums [VULGAR] (4/8 and 4/11 shows) and [Withering to death.] (4/9 show).
Kaoru comments: “Just like it happened for the European tour we went on in March, we couldn’t make the project of coming to the U.S. in 2022 as part of our 25th anniversary activities come true either. And now, with so much going on, it is quite difficult to do a proper tour, but (we thought) if it’s for a single show, then it’s doable. It will be a little bit different from the “FROM DEPRESSION TO ________” series; I think it will become a show where the songs from each of those eras mix up and blend with nowadays DIR EN GREY(‘s music).”
