DIR EN GREY’s concept has always been “pain” since their 1997 inception. And now, the band has just announced that they will release a BEST ALBUM “VESTIGE OF SCRATCHES” on Jan. 2nd, 2018. This work will come in 3 disc format, and will feature 44 remastered songs selected by members among the ones requested by fans (from 1st Indie Mini Album “MISSA” (1997.7.25 RELEASE) to the latest single “詩踏み” (UTAFUMI) (2016.7.27 RELEASE)). Three of the 44 tracks have been re-recorded, so bringing you a special version of these songs as performed by nowadays DIR EN GREY.
The Best Album takes its subtitle from the tour series “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ ”, held for about one year and four months having its final show on Oct. 12th, and it will bring you great compilation of DIR EN GREY up until now.
【First Press Limited Version】will come with a bonus documentary bringing you the full 20 years long history of DIR ENGREY, featuring special and exclusive footage from the indie period to nowadays, as well as one shot performances of the re-recorded songs and interviews to the members.
