A NEW SINGLE titled 『19990120』, which marks the 33th one by DIR EN GREY, has been announced to be released on January 17th, 2024.
This work is a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of DIR EN GREY’s major debut, and features a re-make of the 3 singles released simultaneously back on January 20th, 1999: 『アクロの丘 (Akuro No Oka)』, 『残-ZAN-』 and 『ゆらめき (YURAMEKI)』. Keeping the taste of the melody line and lyrics that stuck on the heart of many fans, yet giving you the vibes of the current DIR EN GREY, sharpened over these 25 years, this single will again stole the hearts of people of all ages.
The bonus footage included in the Limited Deluxe Version and Limited First Press Version is planned to bring you 7 songs (including the SE) from “PSYCHONNECT -mode of “GAUZE”?-”, the tour focused on the band’s major debut album 『GAUZE』, announced straight after the the 3 singles, and a documentary from the behind the scenes of this work.
Preorders will start at all the designated stores / online stores from Nov. 8th (Wed.) at 12:00 (JST).
